Founded in 2019, Schools at Peace is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to transforming education in rural conflict-affected areas. We firmly believe that education is essential for fostering long-term peace and stability. Our focus is on often-neglected rural regions where access to quality education and infrastructure is severely limited.

At Schools at Peace, we engage directly with local schools to understand their unique needs. We prioritize listening to educators, students, and community members to ensure our support is both relevant and impactful. Rather than providing one-time resources and moving on, we fully commit to supporting and developing one school within a region before moving to the next school. This includes developing physical infrastructure, supplying classroom materials, and enhancing curriculums to promote not only academic learning but also inner peace and emotional well-being through culturally permissible and relevant arts. We only expand to new schools and regions when our current school project is fully developed and sustainable.

Our efforts have yielded significant achievements: we have supplied over 500 books in the languages requested by schools, constructed one new classroom, installed solar panels in two schools for sustainable energy, and equipped three schools with computers and printers. Additionally, we have funded various classroom materials tailored to specific requests from educators.

By addressing the needs of rural schools impacted by conflict and violence, Schools at Peace is making strides toward a brighter, more peaceful future for children in some of the most neglected areas of the world. From 2020 to 2025, our focus is on rural villages in Paktia, Afghanistan.
